What’s a perfect flat?
The answer is you should be able to find one at least once a year, says architect Andrew Jenson, whose architectural firm is known for its architectural solutions.
“It’s very difficult to find a good flat in the middle of the city, and you’re probably going to be looking for something that’s not a very tall or very wide,” he said.
For the most part, the more expensive the flat, the better it is, Mr Jenson said.
“In this market, you can usually get a good deal with a very small flat or a very high-end one.”
So if you’re looking for a space that will suit your needs, and also make your home a little bit more comfortable, consider a high-rise.
It’s easy to spot an office, home office, or a large flat from a distance, Mr Auer said.
“If you have a lot of windows, you’ll probably notice a lot more of the window, or the space is a little more spread out, you might have a little smaller floorplan.”
You’ll also notice that a high floorplan may give you more space for your own furniture and furnishings, he said, and less space for people and equipment.
The best way to make a good space for yourself is to choose a good design, he suggested.
You can also get an idea of a floorplan from looking at a website such as Floorplan Finder.
If you’re not sure about the type of building you’re considering, consider taking a look at some of the buildings in Adelaide, where there’s more than one type of flat.
What you can do if you need to change your flatbuilding project in the future Mr Auer recommends that if you change the size of your home, consider the space available and how you can accommodate different uses in your home.
“That way, you don’t have to worry about the space you’re going to give up,” he told news.com,au.
However, you may need to consider a few changes if you plan to convert a flat.
“You might have to consider how much space you want to give away to accommodate different people or different activities, or you might need to look at whether the space’s appropriate for a restaurant or a restaurant that might be taking up space,” he advised.
When you do have a new flat, make sure you’re prepared for the unexpected.
Be sure to consider the needs of your guests, he added.
“I think people really like to have space to explore their own personal space, and so you need that space for that.”
