The American Academy of Gene Therapy (AAGT) is a leading gene therapy organization, and its mission is to ensure that gene therapy can be provided to all people who need it, regardless of their medical condition.
In a new video, AAGT founder Dr. David Katz says that in order to prevent people with inherited genetic conditions from being denied a treatment, we need to change the way we think about gene therapies.
“We can’t ignore the need for effective and safe gene therapy,” Katz said in the video.
“In order to do that, we have to make the science more accurate and the tools more accessible.”
We can’t erase the fear of the unknown The video begins with a summary of the genetic disease, chronic fatigue syndrome, that is now commonly known as CFS, and then the genetic changes in people with the disorder.
The video then goes into the genetics of people with a number of conditions, including multiple sclerosis, asthma, depression, diabetes, and autism.
“What’s most important to us is to give the patient the most effective treatment,” Katz says in the summary.
“But it’s also important to recognize the fears that they have about their condition and to be open to all options.”
Gene therapy can involve gene therapy in the body, Katz says.
In the video, he describes how people can have their cells transplanted into their bodies.
“I’ve been told by some doctors, if you have multiple sclerosis or if you suffer from asthma, you might want to transplant your own cells into your body,” Katz tells the audience.
“That’s a really good option.
If you suffer depression, you can use your own neurons to stimulate your brain and relieve your depression.”
In the past, it was assumed that if a person had multiple sclerosis and a person who had depression had both conditions, they would be more likely to have the disease.
“If you have depression and you have a stroke, for example, you’re more likely,” Katz told the audience in the last sentence.
“It doesn’t mean that you’re likely to develop multiple sclerosis if you’re not depressed.”
The message is simple: Don’t be afraid of what your body can do, but don’t be so afraid that you won’t be able to use the treatment to treat your illness.
But even if you are not having the disease, having a gene therapy treatment in your body may prevent you from getting a diagnosis.
“A lot of the anxiety around gene therapy and the possibility of it affecting someone else can be alleviated,” Katz continued.
“And we don’t have to assume that all patients will have the same disease.
There are many different genetic diseases that affect different people.”
For instance, many people with multiple sclerosis have had their immune system attack the cell that makes the body’s own immune system.
In addition, people with diabetes and asthma have different sets of cells in their immune systems, and sometimes these differences can make it hard for people with these diseases to get the proper treatments.
Gene therapy has the potential to provide a lot of benefit in people who have a genetic disease that makes it hard to be treated with a conventional medicine.
However, it is also important for people who are still struggling to get a diagnosis and are worried about their health.
“Gene therapy is the next step for the world of gene therapy, and it’s the next stage for gene therapy that we’ve been waiting for,” Katz explained.
“Because we know that it’s not only about curing people, but it’s about helping people.”
